Our spacer and muntin products are produced by the world’s largest
manufacturer specializing in lineal IG components, Profilglass
(www.profilglass.it).
The products offer the ultimate in high performance in both automated and manual operations. Due to the fact that Profilglass starts with raw aluminum ingot and controls every step of the process from continuous casting, including alloy and physical properties, through to the finished product delivered to your factory.

SEALANT:
Sealants are the lifeblood of your insulated glass unit and
ADCO
Global (www.adcoglobal.com) provides one stop shopping for all your
window and IG sealant needs. ADCO Global is comprised of ADCO, Chemetall,
and Kömmerling.
These companies produce all the sealants used in IG construction:
- Hot Melt – HM: 4002HS, 2000, 3070HS
- Polyurethane – PU: GD677, GD677HM (Heat Mirror)
- Polysulfide – PS: GD115, GD116,
- Polyisobutylene – PIB: PIB1, 2, 7, 8 & 29

DESICCANT:
Desiccant is essential to IG Unit longevity. These include 3Å, 13X and
blends of these in both large (1-2MM) and small (0.5-1.0MM)
bead.
- 3Å is used when water vapor only is to be adsorbed and used with dual seal, polyurethane and hot melt sealants.
- Blends of 3Å - 3 Angstrom with either 13X - 10 Angstrom are used when solvent vapor needs to be adsorbed in addition to water vapor. Blends are used with single seal Polysulfide sealant or with units that contain muntin requiring touch up paint.
- Large bead is used for manual filling.
- Small bead is used for pneumatic/ automated filling systems.
- Products are available in 55 lb bags, convenient
176 lb fiber drums or steel drums.
